A name you have relied on in the past…
In August 2005, Jonathan and Emelie (Gates) DeMont were given the opportunity to purchase Windsor’s only locally owned and family operated funeral home.
Jonathan and Emelie were both thrilled to inherit the philosophy of “Our family helping your family.”
As is in traditional funeral service, family-owned businesses, like Lohnes’, often bear the name of the owner. Grateful for the exceptional support over the past seven years, Jonathan and Emelie have decided to honour that tradition. As they retire the Lohnes name and invest their family name in the enterprise, they want to assure the community that the Lohnes name is a proud part of their heritage.
A decision not taken lightly, this change has come about after much consideration. The DeMonts deeply appreciated the counsel of many family, friends, neighbours and colleagues. By transforming the name of the business to reflect their connection to the community, Jonathan and Emelie are further committing themselves to Windsor, Berwick and surrounding communities.
We would also like to announce and like to extend a warm welcome to P. Bryce Johnstone. Bryce has been working in the funeral service profession in the Berwick, Kings County area for over 20 years.
Effective immediately, Bryce will be working with our dedicated team of professionals. At the present time, our main office is in Windsor, however, we have made arrangements with local churches and halls in Berwick and surrounding areas so that we can immediately serve you and your families.
Plans are in place for a funeral home to be put in Berwick in the very near future. This funeral home will meet all your needs and our professional staff will ensure your wishes are our main concern.
We look forward to giving back to Berwick, as we have been so fortunate to do so in Windsor, and surrounding areas the type of funeral service provider you deserve. We welcome your inquiries regarding funerals that need to be arranged now or funerals that may be pre-arranged with other providers.
